Simran Kaur Agraja is a respected community leader, accomplished transformation executive, and passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, multicultural inclusion, and community development in Australia. As Executive Director – Community Engagement & Strategic Partnerships at AIMA, she plays a pivotal role in strengthening strategic collaborations, community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and social impact initiatives that elevate AIMA’s presence both nationally and internationally.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience across digital transformation, project management, and organisational change, Simran has built a distinguished professional career spanning government, insurance, banking, technology, and enterprise transformation. Her qualifications include an MBA in Project Management, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), ITIL Certification, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and a Diploma of Property (Agency Management). Her corporate leadership experience includes senior roles with global organisations, where she has successfully led complex transformation initiatives, strategic programs, and stakeholder-driven business outcomes.
Beyond her executive career, Simran is widely recognised for her outstanding grassroots community contributions across Victoria. She has dedicated years of voluntary service to supporting migrant communities, mentoring women in career development, tutoring adult migrants through AMEP and SLPET programs, volunteering in after-school educational initiatives within Moonee Valley Council, and assisting vulnerable individuals through Court Network Victoria and family violence support initiatives.
Since March 2026, she has also served as a Court Support Services Volunteer, empowering court users—including witnesses, defendants, and families—through empathy, emotional support, and practical non-legal guidance while navigating court processes.
As a dynamic public speaker, host, and multicultural ambassador, Simran has become a recognised face at major cultural, sporting, leadership, and charity events across Australia, including:
